2 sad stories in 1 night?

and it think I am. but both stories are so good.







okay, let's talk about the first one (the one that i bought with difficulty cause ada budak yg menyemak kat situ lol)

BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA

the story is so good, adapted from a book with the same title.


when i first read the the tittle i thought this might be just like Narnia, Haryy Potter


you know through and through with the imaginary world.


but B2T is so not like that.


the story tells about Jess, a country boy who is always low in spirit, lack of attention from parents and divert his sadness in drawing.


Leslie on the other hand is city girl but people start to take her as a freak when she admit she had no TV at home.

however friendship developed fast between these two when they discovered about the imaginary world of Teribithia.

The eding was awesome eventhough there was a tragic, unexpected moment happened. Jess finally opened his heart. everything is symbolic in this story. you should read betweent the lines to understand.

i'm good at that when it comes to children and imagination (maybe it because i am still one of them??? rofl)

it was sad towards the end but the story was great.

HERB

not any other i-love-you-you-love-me-let-s-get-married-and you-cheat-on-me-so-let's-get-a-divorce or happily ever after movie.

this is one is so much different.

it tells you about the mentally retarded girl and her mum who owns a flower shop.

the earlier part of the stories was funny (i was laughing my head off!) but i was on the verge of crying at the end.

psst i am so not good at reviewing. you should watch both of these yourselves.
