That is how he is with his stuff (and hopefully he will love me until I am not around him anymore = die insha Allah). Zaid has been using his iphone 3gssince before I know him (I first get to know him in 2010) After doing some research, I found out that, that phone was a second hand phone he bought from a friend in 2009.
Fast forward the research to 2013, he is still using it with several times fixing it
1) speaker
2) sound
3) battery
4) vibration
5) hack system hence cannot sync with computer
Whenever the conversation about changing the phone is being brought up (all the time by me), the answer he gave is scripted to be the same (maybe he wished he could just record it and play it whenever I ask) and the answers were
1) "I can still use the phone" - yeah but the vibration could kill me and you
2) "I have to use the money elsewhere, I have other priorities and changing phone is not one of them" - I have so much respect for Zaid. He is so mature that he knows where the priorities lie. Still, I will ask him again.
Honestly, I want my husband to have the best. For him to have the best clothes, the best car, the best home, the best food, the best family, the best me.... And the best phone.
So I decided to just take the step and use my money to give him the best phone. Mind you Zaid just bought a house for us, a property, so me giving him a new phone is not a big deal.
Being an iphone user, I know it by heart that he won't change his preference. I did asked him several times about note 3 but he said he did not understand how Samsung works.
The latest of iphone is iphone 5s. I did try to buy it via apple store but due to the transaction limit, CIMB blocked my debit card due to worry of scam. I did search high and low for the phone in KLCC down to every machine and switch store in JB but my effort met with a dissapointment.
But. I still want to buy the new phone for my husband. I finally found a store that sold Singapore set in KSL. A tad bit expensive but it has what I want. But not what my Zaid wants. He wants Grey 32gb. The shop doesn't have that.
But I spotted iphone 5 64gb. I asked about the price.
Cheaper! Yes alhamdulillah.
I did mentioned how my husband is not a tech savvy. I called him and he said okay so I bought it. He loves it!
Eh? Two iPhones?
Hehehehe.
New year gift from me😊
